Here at The English Fellowship and Cultural Society we like to promote all things English, as you have probably noticed! We are pleased to announce that we have all county flags 5′ x 3′ in stock at a reasonable price, also we have each county flag in sticker format so that you can show your appreciation for where you live or originate from on the move! Can I Fly My County Flag?
.answer..yes you can!
A Change in legislation permits you to fly an English County Flag without planning permission. The Town and Country Planning ( England ) regulation’s since 2007 says you no longer need planning permission. Although flags must be genuine official County Flag’s registered & recognised by the Flag Institute.
Support your Shire ! your County ! and fly your Flag, also why not get a county sticker on your car or Caravan . English Shires should be supported as well as England. The Shires go back Centuries and the Flags, Banners, Shields, coat of Arms …….. English Culture and Heritage Supporting and promoting.
One of our members put his flag pole in the garden and proudly flew the Cross of St George on the 23rd of April within weeks his neighbours had done the same, its all about spreading the word and supporting the Country we love, England…. Always.
In our Merchandise dept we sell 39 County-shire Flags of England also County Car/Caravan Stickers we believe in Promoting and encouraging people to support the “Shires”. We would love to see every back garden and prominent building with a county flag or shield as a proud emblem flying high and wide for all to see bringing a traditional English sense of belonging.
